Will
Munroe,
Principal, ClearIntent: Sites That Sell. An accomplished online
retail consultant, Will Munroe brings a unique and valuable perspective
to e–commerce consulting: Web sites and wireless applications should
do more than inform, they should actively persuade customers to buy.
Will adds
consumer psychology and retail anthropology (the study of how we shop) to
proven methods of software design. By accounting for consumer motivation,
Will has pioneered the design of e-commerce experiences that drive online
buying.
Beginning with software engineering for the financial and entertainment
sectors over ten years ago, Will has since designed and implemented
interfaces for projects ranging from electronic banking applications to public
telephones and games. He has led projects for Immersant (Bowne Internet),
CIBC, Battle Mountain Gold, Noranda Mining and Exploration, the Disney-McDonalds
Alliance and The Canadian Film Centre.
Will holds a Bachelor of Science
in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Toronto, where he graduated
with distinction in 1990.
