Overview
The Diocese approached us after unsatisfactory results with a previous design firm - leaving them with a significantly reduced budget and a tight timeline. We produced a stronger and more appropriate look while maintaining the existing pallette and internal information architecture - although the home page was significantly changed.
The new home page is warm and inviting, featuring striking, seasonal photographs, and a list of the most recent news stories. "It is designed to appeal to both seekers and committed Anglicans," said Ann Castro Web verger.
The Diocese of Toronto is the most populous Anglican diocese in Canada
and covers an area larger than the GTA, covering some 10,000 square miles
and containing 215 parishes. It includes urban, suburban and rural parishes
as well as several ethnic congregations (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Tamil,
Hispanic and Filipino).
